The ONDR uses the following methods to help keep the members informed and get them the answers they need.

• The ONDR Newsletter

ONDR mails each of its members a newsletter on a regular basis that will provide you with race dates , news and special interest stories on our members. Submissions to the newsletter are encouraged and very much appreciated. A couple of photos and a short description of your car is a great way to let the other members get to know you. Automotive related buy and sell ads are published free of charge.

• The ONDR Newsgroup

ONDR subscribes to a Yahoo internet news group that provides a forum for bench racing, tech help and the latest news…not to mention an occasional “all in fun” jab at the owners of the opposing make of car.

To join the ONDR Yahoo internet news group:

Go tohttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/OntarioNostalgiaDragRacers/ and click on the blue “Join this Group” button on the upper left of the screen. If you already have a Yahoo ID simply sign in . If you do not have a Yahoo ID you will need to create a Yahoo account before you can sign in. Once you sign in you will be directed to a page where you make a few simple choices regarding e-mail preferences. Pushing the blue Join button at the bottom of the page sends an e-mail to the ONDR group moderator who will send you an e-mail welcoming you to the group and instructions on how to send and receive messages. It sounds like a complicated matter but you only have to do this once and it goes a lot faster than you would think.

• ONDR Group Meetings

During the “off season” ONDR members get together to bench race and discuss the direction of the group for the upcoming season.

The meetings are held in a very nice community meeting room above Hurley's Independent Grocers, 273 King Street West Ingersoll. Dates and times will be listed on the web site and in the newsletter.
